Standard 1 hour session fee: $180 (Medicare rebates apply)

NDIS 1 hour session fee: $193.99 (Medicare rebates do not apply)

Medicare Rebates

Current medicare rebate (if a mental health care plan is obtained): $81.90. This would result in sessions costing the ‘gap payment’ of $98.10. To obtain this rebate for sessions, please see a GP to gain a Mental Health Care Plan, and ask them to either send this to our email, or you can bring a hardcopy to your first session. Without this, we are unable to process the medicare rebate.

Financial hardship

We understand that each individual has different financial capacities. We do offer a sliding scale of fees to try to cater for these differences as best as we can. If you cannot afford the full fee, or are experiencing financial hardship, please contact us and let us know so that we can discuss this with you.

Payment processing

Your payment is processed at the completion of the session using a service called Medipass. We will send you a secure payment link to your phone to complete the transaction, or if you wish, we can process the transaction for you with your credit card details. If eligible for Medicare rebates, we are able to process your refund at the completion of the session also. If you are not claiming under medicare, you may be eligible to claim rebates/access free sessions with:

  • Private health funds - we recommend you contact your insurer beforehand to check your eligibility

  • Worker’s Compensation Insurance Claim - we recommend you contact your insurer beforehand to check your eligibility

  • Employee Assistance Programs

Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours notice of your intention to not attend your booked appointment. Late cancellation may incur a 50% fee charge, which cannot be claimed under medicare or private health.

Why the cost?

We appreciate that it can be confusing when trying to understand why therapy sessions incur out of pocket expenses. Whilst we can offer bulk billing (no charge) in rare circumstances with a Mental Health Care Plan, we are unable to continue to operate if we do not charge our fees. In order to deliver quality therapy services, there are many overhead costs to cover, including office rent, costly insurances and memberships, therapy materials, software and time spent completing high volumes of administration. We are very grateful for your contributions to our small business, and are happy to discuss this more with you should you have any concerns.
